About Us
More Than a Meal — A Connection to Community
Proserpine Meals on Wheels Services Inc is a not-for-profit community organisation that has provided quality meals to people in Proserpine and surrounding areas for over fifty years. We are proudly part of the Australian Government's aged-care support program.
Although a small contribution is charged for meals, our organisation relies on government funding, generous community fundraising, and the dedication of volunteers to operate effectively. Every delivery is also a welfare check — a friendly face and a moment of connection for those who need it most.
Our kitchen and office are based at 7A Marathon Street, Proserpine QLD 4800, and we service a wide area across the beautiful Whitsunday region.
